Best New Movies On Hbo Max October 2021

HBO Max came with a stacked catalog of movies and TV shows from the past of Warner Bros. It continues to add stuff from other sister channels as well. At the same time bringing local shows to international audiences as well. Apart from all of this, the next thing working for HBO Max is its original that keeps on growing further. The same spirit is continuing for November of 2021 as we look at all the TV Shows & Movies coming to HBO Max altogether.

So what we have for November is a number of Max Originals wrapping up their seasons for now. Shows like Doom Patrol, Love Life, and Selena+ Chef are wrapping up their respective seasons. Then there are shows returning to take their place that includes the likes of My Seasame Street Friends Season 2 and Tom and Jerry In New York Season 2. Lastly, new Max originals in the form of Head of the Class, Kamikaze, and The Cut, (aka O Grande Look). So let's start off with some of the top shows & movies coming to HBO Max in November 2021 before we move to the entire list.

4 November 2021 – Aida Rodriguez: Fighting Words

The new Comedy Special from Aida Rodriguez sees her taking a break from the usual political comedy she is popular for. So in this special, she will talk about the same as well, how worn out she has become with this routine. Then talk about her Puerto Rican and Dominican heritage. How was it growing up with her family? Lastly, what her dating life looks like. All in Aida Rodriguez: Fighting Words.

Aida Rodriguez wrote the special entirely. Kristian Mercado and Nadia Hallgren have joined Rodriguez to direct the special. Rodriguez is also producing the show along with names such as Michelle Caputo and Shannon Hartman, with both of them serving as the executive producers.

Frayed Season 2

ABC TV and Sky UK's comedy-drama continues as a Max Original for the international viewers. The second season of Frayed sees Sammy's family returning to London. Sammy spends time trying to prove that her lawyer deceived them while trying to settle her husband's estate. Thus resulting in him having her grand house in the London suburbs. As this goes on, the family may also find themselves in a case involving murder.

A day before Sammy's family left Newcastle, a violent neighbor near Sammy's mother's house was found dead. It's an accidental killing, and Sammy's family could turn out to be prime suspects owing to the fact that they left just a day later. Sarah Kendall, who stars in Frayed, also created and wrote the show. Shaun Wilson and Jennifer Leacey have joined her on the directing side, with Nicole O'Donohue producing it.

Gen: Lock Season 2

The second season of Gen: Lock Season 2 is teasing about a war that sees a number of soldiers sacrificing their life. With that, only a handful of them survived and will be fighting for the future of humanity. At this point, due to a climate collapse, there are two visions humanity could move towards. Two unions found themselves butting heads against each other. Amidst all of this, Chase, Miranda, Cammie, and their team try to fight them off. But with the war in the process, they need to be ready to make a sacrifice of their family and friends if they want to see a better day.

Gray Haddock created Gen: Lock with Rooster Teeth producing the show. We are expecting the second season of Gen: Lock to continue having the eight episodes that may drop altogether on HBO Max. The same eight episodes may later appear on Rooster Teeth, almost 90 days after the season's release on HBO Max.

Head of the Class

A reboot of a 1986 sitcom of the same name, Head of the Class, brings Alicia Adams as an extraordinary teacher. She turns out to be the biggest challenge for a bunch of overachieving students. The challenge of being under pressure from her or tolerating her is the question. All she wants for her students is to not look at grades as the only thing to achieve in life. Instead, she wants them to focus on taking inspiration from life and learning new things every second.

The brand new HBO Max original Head Of The Class reboot stars Isabella Gomez from One Day At A Time in the lead role. Joining her would be Jorge Diaz, Jolie Hoang Rappaport, Gavin Lewis, Dior Goodjohn, Brandon Severs, Adrian Matthew Escalona, and Katie Beth Hall. Christa Miller joins the show occasionally as one of the guest stars.

Rap Battlefield Series Premiere

Rap Battlefield tells the story of León, a young man moving to Bueno Aires to join his friend Rafaela. Together they want to be part of the thriving freestyling scene. This sees them working together as they smash their competitors one by one while Andy, their friend, helps them become huge on the social network. Thus creating their path to the NET series and ultimately the Master's Cup.

Rap Battlefield or Dias de Gallos is a Argentanian drama coming from Lucas Jinkis and Hernán Guerschuny. The show stars Ángela Torres , Ecko and Tomás Wicz in the lead roles. Joaquín Cambre and Hernán Guerschuny have directed the episodes based on a script by Joaquin Bonet and Sofía Wilhelmi.

11 November 2021 – A Thousand Fangs (aka Mil Colmillos)

HBO Maxs' first Latin-American Original to look at. A Thousand Fangs tell the story of an elite commando who onto a mission that sends him inside a deep, dense forest. The motive is to take down a powerful and mysterious leader. We may see him co-ordinating with his officers to pull off the right moves in order to survive the wrath of the enemy. Apart from that, the filming location of A Thousand Fangs, as in the Amazon Rainforest, serves as an important element for the storytelling of the show.

Doom Patrol Season 3 Finale

The tenth and final episode of the third season of Doom Patrol wraps up the time-traveling story of this season. At this point, there are no official details on where the show is heading. From the recent events, we can suggest that the battle between the Doom Patrol and Madam Rouge would officially come to a close.

The team recently came back together and might reunite with Rita Farr soon to fend off the Madam Rouge from the future, who is here to destroy the legacy Niles has built for years. Jeremy Carver developed the show starring Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, Matt Bomer/Matthew Zuk, Brendan Fraser/Riley Shanahan, and Timothy Dalton in the lead roles. The third season introduces Michelle Gomez as the villain Madame Rouge.

Love Life Season 2 Finale

The second season of Love Life that told us a brand new story about Marcus Watkins will officially come to a wrap as well. The anthology series' second season was all about Watkins entering his 30s and freshly divorced. Amidst all of this, as a single black man in New York, he had no option to go back to roots. Then slowly and steadily learn to find love in the big city all over again.

Anna Kendrick continues to be the executive producer for Love Life Season 2. Only the cast and story of the show changes with William Jackson Harper taking the lead as Marcus Watkins, Jessica Williams As Mia Hines, Punkie Johnson As Ida Watkins, and Comedian CP As Yogi.

My Sesame Street Friends Season 2 Premiere

The compilation series of the original Sesame Street continues. At this point, we are not sure the episodes featured, but there will be a total of 13 for sure. Ryan Dillion serves as one of the directors for the episodes that go on for around 12 minutes. The show continues with the same format it has always gone with. One of the characters from the show will take center stage each episode to talk about a certain issue in life and answer it throughout the episode.

At this point, there are no official details on what the MAX original documentary is all about.

Selena + Chef Season 3 Finale

Selena Gomez's unscripted home cooking show is wrapping up its third overall season. For every episode, we saw her trying something new for herself. Since it's new, she wasn't alone as a new chef joined her for this every day. With the season coming to a wrap, we are expecting someone big to come around and her to try something big as well. It's either going to be something utterly delicious or a disaster. More on the brighter side, the show continues to donate $10,000 to the charity of the Chef's choice.

South Side Season 2

Originally a Comedy Central show, South Side is moving to HBO Max with its Season 2. Therefore, from now it will be considered a MAX Original. The show tells the story of two friends who graduated from a community college in Chicago. Now they are regularly looking to start up something new that may help them make money and grow. This goes on from Xboxes to Meatballs. Whatever intrigues them the next day.

South Side Season 2 is renewed with a total of 10 episodes. So far, the release date suggests all the episodes may drop in altogether. Apart from that, South Side stars Sultan Salahuddin, Kareme Young, Chandra Russell, Bashir Salahuddin, Lil Rel Howery, Zuri Salahuddin, Quincy Young, and Diallo Riddle. Diallo Riddle, Bashir Salahuddin, and Sultan Salahuddin themselves created the show.

14 November 2021 – Kamikaze Series Premiere

The very first HBO Max Original Drama from Europe. Kamikaze is a Danish drama that takes inspiration from the novel Muleum by Erlend Loe. It tells the story of a young, beautiful, and rich 18-year-old girl Julie who loses her parents in a plane crash. With them gone, the wealth they left behind for her doesn't hold any value for her. This results in her leaving all of this behind and embarking on a journey of self-discovery of her own.

Kamikaze is an eight-part series that will premier on HBO Max and 46 different countries. The Danish Max Original stars Marie Reuther, Aleksandr Kuznetsov and Johan Rheborg in the lead roles. Johanne Algren wrote the show with Profile Pictures Ditte Milsted producing it.

18 November 2021 – Craftopia Season 2B

Craftopia continues its second season by dropping the last four episodes altogether. Originally, Craftopia is a non-scripted kid crafting competition. It involves competitors from age 9 to 15 competing in various tasks where they are asked to create an item within the given period of time. Apart from that, the show is looking forward to a holiday special featuring the adults for the very first time. So you better catch up with Season 2B.

The Sex Lives of College Girls Premiere

A brand new teen-comedy from The Office famed Mindy Kaling. The Sex Lives Of College Girls follows the story of four 18-year-old freshman girls from Essex College in Vermont. Apart from attending college, they spend time trying to cover up for their sexually active lifestyle amidst the hard life college brings.

The Sex Lives of College Girls will consist of a total of 10 episodes. At this point, the first one is scheduled to release on 18 November. The show stars Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Reneé Rapp, and Alyah Chanelle Scott in the lead roles. Midori Francis, Gavin Leatherwood, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Lauren "Lolo" Spencer, and Renika Williams will join the cast as the supporting cast.

Sort of (CBC) Series Premier

A CBC show joining HBO Max for the international viewers. Sort of tells the story of Sabi Mehboob, a Pakistani non-binary millennial trying to balance her immigrant family. Then at the same time taking care of the LGBTQ bookstore and café where she works as a bartender. Lastly, taking care of a professional couple's young kids. Well if that was a lot, we gotta wait and see what's more for her in Sort of.

The episodes for Sort of will originally premiere on CBC a week before appearing on HBO Max. Bilal Baig created the show with Fab Filippo. She also stars in the show. Jenn Engels, Nelu Handa, and Ian Iqbal Rashid joined them on the writing team, while Renuka Jeyapalan joined Filippo on directing as well. Apart from Baig, we have Gray Powell, Amanda Cordner, Ellora Patnaik, Grace Lynn Kung, Supinder Wraich, Aden Bedard, Greg Calderone, and Alanna Bale as a part of the supporting cast as well.

Tom and Jerry in New York Season 2 Premiere

The adventures of Tom and Jerry in New York continue with the second season in the row. The show takes inspiration from the very successful 2021 animated/live-action hybrid film. It is set right after the events of the same and is pretty much based on the same animation as the 2014 show did. So we may see our frenemies fighting again for one or the other thing in New York again.
